Upholding the core values of your brand

As a business owner and leader of your team, you have a responsibility to uphold your values. The core values you set for your employees to follow are also a reflection of your brand. If you have employees or customers that are not meeting your values, it’s your job to act and make it right.

One of our core values is respect, and I have set expectations for my employees and my customers to uphold it. I’ve been there when one of my highest paying clients treated one of my employees with disrespect. And I had to handle the situation with our customer.

What would you have done in a situation like that? Would you step up to maintain the integrity of your company values? Or act like nothing happened because it’s one of your biggest accounts?
