Nine questions every leader must ask before letting someone go

As a leader, your expectations of your employees is high. When someone isn’t performing to the standards you have for them, it’s obvious that you might need to make a decision and let that person go. But before you do, try to consider how costly that decision can be for you and the company.

The employee might need more training. Or put into a different position where they would thrive and bring even more value to your organization.  My interview with Forbes gives great insight into what I feel are the questions you need to ask yourself as a leader before firing someone.
